Smoking and Beauty

Most smokers who want to quit smoking are not motivated. The reason they want to quit is not good enough and so they are never able to get rid of it. How about if I give you some motivation. Tobacco has a very bad effect on beauty. This can be a great motivation for women and for some men as well.

Following are listed some of the harmful effects of tobacco and cigarettes on beauty:

1. Wrinkles:
Smoking can cause wrinkles on your skin, one of the thing most women are very cautious about “wrinkles”. Wrinkles do not start to appear with a single cigarette or after one month of smoking, but if a person has been smoking for a year or more, his skin will begin to wrinkle. Smoking inhibit the oxygen supply to your skin, therefore you skin becomes wrinkled and loses it elasticity.

2. Teeth:
Well, everybody knows this that smoking makes your teeth look yellow; it is the nicotine that is deposited on teeth and makes the look yellow. Nobody wants or like yellow teeth. To get yellow teeth white, you will have to get some orthodontist’s help, which in turn will cost you.

3. Lips:
Your lips become dark, they turn from pink to dark pink, and it seriously does not look good. It happens because the heat of cigarette burns the red blood cells in the lips.

4. Hair:
Your hair become thin and weak. Hair fall is also a result. Carbon monoxide in the cigarettes stops the oxygen supply

5. Eye bags:
Eye bags look very ugly; it looks like you have not slept for days. Dark circles and eye bags make a person look like he is ill.

6. Yellow nails:
Like you teeth, your nails also become yellow and brittle.
