Lucky Strike is quite a "renaissance" brand – it was features in movies, video games, music biz and TV. Luckies "starred" in the opening scene of the Cowboy Bebop movie; in Tim Waits' song Kentucky Avenue – "…half pack of Lucky Strike"; in the Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake video game where the main character smoked Lucky Striker; and in the TV series Mad Men where Lucky Strikes execs hired Sterling Cooper to create an ad campaign for them just as cigarettes were announced as unhealthy.
